Blox Blast — Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy applies to Blox Blast, published by Zhuk Games Studio.
Short version: our games have no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email or phone number. The only third parties involved are the services that show ads, run anonymous usage statistics and validate purchases. You can turn off personalised advertising at any time in your device settings.
1. Who we are
Zhuk Games Studio ("we", "us", "the studio") is an independent game developer. This policy explains how we handle information when you play our games, visit zhukgames.com, or contact our support team.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for the limited information described below. You can reach us at support@zhukgames.com at any time.
2. What our games collect
Our games are designed to need as little data as possible. They do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
The following categories are the only information processed when you play:
| Category | Examples | Who processes it | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anonymous usage analytics | App launches, levels started and completed, sessions, crash reports, device model, operating-system version, country, language | Firebase Analytics (Google) | To understand which parts of a game are fun, where players get stuck, and what to fix in the next update |
| Advertising identifiers and ad events | Advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID) where you consent, ad impressions, clicks, completed rewarded videos, IP address | Unity LevelPlay / ironSource and its demand partners | To display ads, including the optional rewarded videos you choose to watch, to measure them and to prevent fraud |
| Purchase validation | An anonymous app user identifier, product identifier, App Store receipt and transaction data | RevenueCat (on our behalf) and Apple | To deliver the coins or items you paid for, to restore purchases and to detect fraudulent receipts |
| On-device storage | Game progress, high scores, sound and language settings, notification preferences | Nobody — stored locally on your device only | So the game remembers where you were. This data is never uploaded to us. |
We do not run our own servers that store player data. Analytics, ads and purchase processing are handled by the service providers listed above, under their own privacy policies.
3. What we do not collect
- No name, email address, postal address or phone number — there is no account to create.
- No contacts, calendar, photos, camera, microphone or files from your device.
- No precise or approximate location. Country-level statistics are derived by our analytics provider from IP address, not from device GPS.
- No health, fitness or biometric data.
- No browsing history outside the game.
- We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with data brokers.
4. Advertising and your choice
Our games show very little advertising, and never interrupt gameplay on their own. Ads in our titles are rewarded videos: a video you deliberately choose to watch in exchange for an in-game benefit such as an extra continue, a hint or a reroll. You can play every game end-to-end without ever watching one.
Advertising in our iOS games is delivered by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and its mediation partners. Some of that advertising is personalised, which relies on your device advertising identifier.
- On iOS 14.5 and later we ask for permission through App Tracking Transparency before any tracking identifier is used. If you decline, the game still works fully — you simply see non-personalised ads.
- You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track" entirely.
- You can also limit ad personalisation at any time from your device settings without losing any game feature.
- We never use advertising to gate progress, and we do not show interstitial or full-screen ads during play.
5. Purchases
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your card number, billing address or Apple ID password. Apple provides us (via RevenueCat) with a confirmation that a purchase was made and an anonymous identifier so the correct coins can be delivered to the correct installation of the game.
Virtual coins and items in our games have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and are not transferable between accounts or devices.
6. Notifications
If a game offers reminders (for example, to let you know your free daily bonus is ready), the notification is scheduled locally on your device. No data about your notification preferences is sent anywhere. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
7. Children
Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because our games have no accounts and no sign-up, we have no way to identify a player's age, and we collect no personal information from any player.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information — for example by emailing our support address — please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Legal bases and your rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: our legitimate interest in understanding how our games are used and in preventing fraud; your consent for personalised advertising and tracking identifiers; and the performance of a contract when delivering a purchase you have made.
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email support@zhukgames.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Because our games have no accounts, in most cases we hold no information that can be linked to you at all. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
9. United States: California and other state privacy laws
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising outside the app in which it was collected, other than through the advertising services described in section 4, which you control through your device settings.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may request to know what personal information we hold, request deletion or correction, and opt out of targeted advertising. Contact support@zhukgames.com and we will honour the request within the timeframe required by your state.
10. How long information is kept
- Analytics events are retained by our analytics provider for a limited period configured by us, and are aggregated after that.
- Purchase records are retained as long as required to resolve billing disputes and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Data stored locally on your device is deleted when you delete the game from your device.
11. International transfers
Our service providers (Google, Unity/ironSource, RevenueCat, Apple) are based in the United States and may process information there. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider participates in it.
12. Security
All network traffic between our games and the third-party services above is encrypted in transit using TLS. Purchase receipts are validated server-side. Because we do not operate our own player database, there is no store of personal information for us to protect or to lose.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how information is handled, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you inside the game before the change takes effect. Continuing to use our games after that date means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact
Questions about this policy, data requests, or anything else privacy-related: support@zhukgames.com. We read every message.
